Greetings to All:
As the subject says, for some bizarre reason, my Windows XP SP2 station
refuses to appear in the network browse lists on our domain.
I checked the 'net config server' setting, and indeed the workstation is NOT

The File-Sharing Network on my XP SP2 Home machines spontaneously
revived, but only after I did a lot of fumbling that seems to have
affected my ability to compare files of the same name that are shared

I have a 2 computer workgroup through a D-Link DI 624c router.  All was just
fine untill about 2 weeks ago when one machine suddenly stopped being able to

I just had a client call and say his workstations are "acting
strangely". If they are set to DHCP they are getting assigned different
subnets so they can't communicate. If IP and subnet is entered manually
everything is okay.

I am having an unusual problem with a home network i have setup. I have 1 PC
running Win98SE and the other PC running WinXP Pro. Both connect into a 4port
HUB, using CAT4 or 5 cable. Both are set to "WORKGROUP" etc and i can access
Win98's Shared files/folders from the WinXP PC, ...
