As the subject says, for some bizarre reason, my Windows XP SP2 station
refuses to appear in the network browse lists on our domain.
I checked the 'net config server' setting, and indeed the workstation is NOT

I don't see any other general network winxp group so hopefully this
goes here.
First a quick summary of my current setup:

The File-Sharing Network on my XP SP2 Home machines spontaneously
revived, but only after I did a lot of fumbling that seems to have
affected my ability to compare files of the same name that are shared
by two computers.

I have a 2 computer workgroup through a D-Link DI 624c router.  All was just
fine untill about 2 weeks ago when one machine suddenly stopped being able to
access the other in the workgroup.  The WAN access never changed and it works
fine.

When I activate my favorites on AOL , I get a line showing My
Rourine....... I can't get rid of this line. I cannot find it in
Search.This line came by itself.

Does this indicate a problem? Should the Guest account be "active" when
it is "off"

I just had a client call and say his workstations are "acting
strangely". If they are set to DHCP they are getting assigned different
subnets so they can't communicate. If IP and subnet is entered manually
everything is okay.

I have a program to send emails for my business and it asks for my smtp mail
