My sister and I want to network our PC's via direct cable. We cannot create a

I just installed a fresh copy of windows xp professional. It's a custom built
pc, so I'm starting with fresh new hardware here.
Heres the stats:
Processor – AMD XP 2600+

I'm learning about networking xp home and pro. I've got my computers talking
to each other, but have 1 problem left.
XP Pro does not seem to be able to make a remote desktop connection to XP
Home. although home can make a remote desktop connection to the pro machine.
