I am trying to network 2 computers together.  I have done it before, but

I have two machines(PC & Laptop) behind a shared router. Both running XP Pro
and has no problems going about web browsing. The PC was installed with World

I know from experience that enabling netbios over tcp in WINS tab on peer to
peer (workgroup) can start the networked machines talking to each other
again. But I also have seen workgroups that have netbios turned off and the

I am using personal mail web server, given by us as a complementary by
our ISP provider to check the emails & services usage. My problem is
that in the Inbox if I get 10 mails daily, out of 10, 6 are junk mails.
I configured mail on my outlookexpress (pop & smtp is gvn by ISP).

My desktop machine can access Shared Docs on my laptop, both running
XP Home.  I get the following message when trying to access Shared
Docs on the desktop from the laptop:

does the my documents folder always act like internet explorer w/ a web
searching bar and favorites menu? I have never seen this before and I was
wondering if my computer is at all in trouble for viruses or having music
stollen etc.
