When console commands such as netstat, netsh, route, net start, etc
are issued in a localized version of Windows, is the output also
localized, or is it always in English?

I am working on a friends computer (XP SP2) that will not connect to the
internet (but it used to). He says no particular event preceded this

I have 2 PCs, A and B, connected to the internet via an ethernet hub (with
WiFi) and ADSL modem.  Both can connect to the internet no problem, can PING
each way fine.  Shares can be seen on both PCs.  However A can access files
on B, but B can only see files on A but not open ...

I've connected three computers to a network,pc's A,B, and C. B is on a

My ISP won't assign an IP address to my Linksys WRT54g (Version 5)
router.  It will assign an IP to my computer, which is using the same
MAC address.  The router seems to be configured correctly; it's set up
for DHCP, etc, so it should appear to be identical to my computer...

I have a problem. Both of my home computers are connected to a router
in which I also connected my cable modem. The internet works fine on
both of them but I can't share files. Each computer can ping itself but
can't ping each other so obviously there's a problem.

I've seen this problem discussed when the issue is ZoneAlarm, but my
situation is a bit different. There are 2 computers.  One running XP
Home and one (the main machine) running XP Media Center.
The XP Home machine is used mostly as a backup computer.

Now at first, i know i cannot do it, because only one person is allowed
to be connected to a server from a login.  Is there any way possible to
