I'll tell you about my setup first. I have a linksys WRT45G router coming from a cable modem. I have a desktop wired to the router which everyone uses. I also have a laptop, which only I use, that connects wirelessly to the router. Pretty simple right?

I'm connected to the internet through my parents computer networked. Yesterday my dad restarted his computer and i lost my internet connection. The network is connected but i can get on the internet. Any ideas why this happened and how i can fix it?

How do I install 2 network cards? I have two identical d-link cards. I can see both in device mgr but the 2nd card called adaptor #2 will not install the drivers. I need this for LAN, the other for external WAN.

Is it possible with a standard Windows PPTP client VPN to bypass the VPN for all web traffic. I've heard this discussed and can't remember the terminology but it was at a Citrix demo so may have been vendor specific. Thanks in advance.
