i am having trouble getting my two computers to network together i have a hub
and would like to know how to network the computers using a hub

I have 3 PC's in a workgroup. They are all on the same IP subnet and can all
ping eachother. However. One PC cannot communicate via netbios, you cannot
see it in network neighbourhood or search for it. Even by IP address. If you
ip config the offending machine it says netbios ...

I have a Laptop and a PC. Can I use a crossover ethernet lead to do a transfer of my files and settings from the laptop [old unit] to the PC [new unit]? Both units have a NIC.

I bought an IBM ThinkPad T21 two years ago on eBay. It came with XP
installed, but no XP CD.
I left the registry without back-up until the computer would freeze at

I need help.  I'm trying to repair my home wireless network and don't know
where to begin.  I kept using the setup network wizard, and now I have two
networks!  I want to delete these two networks and start the setup from

Ok I got rid of the Semaphore timed out when I clicked on my computer in my
work group of computers but now this comes up
\\evan is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network
resource. Contact the administrator (Which is me home network) of this server
