I have 3 computers in a workgroup, all 3 are running windows XP pro. The
shared folders of this computer (A7v8x) cannot be accessed by the other two
computers though this computer can accessed the shared folders of the other
two computers.

i just wondered if, once i've set up my laptop to connect to the internet
through another firewalled pc, do i need to run a firewall on the laptop.
i ask because my laptop firewall is not YET letting e access the other pc

simple so i thought.
1) if i use a network cable, i loose the possibility to connect to the net.
2) the PC is connected to a wireless router via USB.
3) The laptop connects weirelessly to the Router.
