I have a LinkSys BEFSR41 v1.0 router connect to RoadRunner and a Windows 98 SE computer. I follow the setup instructions, which work fine. I restart the computer and configure the router. This also works fine.

Two PC's, both running Win XP Home. Both plugged into a Linksys BEFSR41. Both DHCP clients. Both access the Web fine. PC1 can ping PC2, but when PC2 tries to ping PC1, it times out. Any tips or suggestions?

Hello: I have 2 pc's at home. Both can connect individually through a cable modem and 1 pc will connect to the internet through the router but other one will not. Both are running XP, what have I missed? Thanks for your help

Have a 2 'puter home network encompassing a win 98SE and a Win Me connected via a hub for a few years. Each computer has its own name and operates through a common workgroup. Protocols are TCP/IP and IPX/SPX for File and Print Sharing.

I did a dumb thing. I removed my D-Link DWL-520 wireless G PCI adapter from my desktop planning to move it to another desktop. Don't ask.. long story. I did this with the assumption that my install disk was at hand. No.. that was for the D Link Router.. not the 520. Oops..
