Previously, I had an XP Home computer and a mobile XP Pro computer that I bring back and forth to work. I am logged into a domain at work, but I had configured a workgroup at home that allowed me to access a printer that was connected to the XP Home computer.

That's the situation: I have a cable ISP, which gives a public ip for accessing the internet. So, I installed loopback adapter, created a VPC, and installed a web server. I configured ICS to forward port 80 request to the VPC.
