I can get to the main server by typing \\trac1 into Windows Explorer, but I can't get to my machine using \\mycomputername\. I used to be able to not only see other computers on my company's domain, but I could use RDC to connect to my work machine. I can't do that any more.

I wish to share program files on my Dell Laptop running XP home SP2 with my desktop computer via a wireless connection. The sharing options are greyed out because the files are used by the OS. Is there anyway around this it is most inconveient.

Setup: I have a cable modem hooked up to Comcast. The cable modem is hooked to a 1x4 Netgear router. From the router, a line goes to a W98SE machine and another line goes to a XP Pro machine.
