I have a problem in my network the mapped drive S: is not accessble
once or twice often on all computers running on windows xp
professional.
the errors are either the device is already in use or an error occured

I have 2 boxes, both with XP Pro on a wired network.  I have simple file
sharing enabled on box A.
The problem is, I can access some of the shares on the box, but not all.

Hello - I just installed a new harddrive on my Dell desktop (old
harddrive was destroyed by a virus) and then went on to install XP Pro
on it. Everything went fine except that now I cannot see the "LAN
connection" icon in my network connections window. I went to the

The laptop connects to the LAN, but I cant see the other PC's on the LAN.

time on the network are different..."  Cannot logon to the network.  What
