I am using winxp with sp2 (firewall is disabled). My computer is joint my company domain (lets say the domain name is mycomp). i click into "My network places" --> "Entire network" -->"Microsoft Windows Network" --> "mycomp".

I am using a desktop with XP Pro and a laptop with XP Home and a wireless connection to the router from the laptop. I have run the network wizard on both computers. I can see both listed in "workgroup computers" and can ping both.
