We are adding a new computer and have transferred the files from a 2000 Server computer to an XP computer over the network. Once they are on the XP computer, we cannot open them it says that we do not have permission. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We are adding a new XP computer and copying files over the network from a 2000 Server computer to the new one. The files transfer fine, but once they are on the new computer we cannot open them. It says that we do not have permission.

If you add a new computer to a network i know that you have to run the network setup wizard on that computer - do you have to however re run the wizard on every other computer that is already in the network - according to the qizard you do.
