2 PCs on Windows Network.
Each with a NIC and ethernet cable to connect to router.
Problem is that often when I open windows explorer on either
machine it takes ages to show the Hard Disk contents.

Im having this problem with my Windows XP Professional. Im using a IBM T43
notebook and i was able to ping to the (IP Address) of any internet address
but not the domain (example: www.yahoo.com).

I setup a home network 3 of them xp pro and 1 xp home on laptop. Two pros can
see each other and home and can file file share just fine the other pro can
use the other computers file and works fine but the others can only use part
of the one xp computer
