Starting yesterday, I've been trying to download my entire website --
500-600 MB.  I'm using WS_FTP Pro.  The download speed is very erratic
and slow.  It varies from 1 Kbps to 1000 Kbps.  Much of the time spent
between 5 and 40 Kbps.

How do I configure my Internet settings such that it automatically connects
when I start my computer and disconnects when I shut down.
