Hi, i've only just noticed, but on my XP Pro machine, an the Network status page for each interface, it gives the traffic in packets. However, on my better halves machine, XP Home, it gives traffic in Bytes. Is there any way to make the XP Pro machine do the same?

I am a teacher and the entire school is mac computers. We have not been able to get on the teacher server or connect to the network printers. It is a wireless network, and I can get on the internet. I was wondering if you could help in connecting to the server and printers.

Newly installed Outlook Express - installed or at least modified by Wandoo broadband setup CD-ROM. POP3 address on intallation was a numeric URL. Whatever it was, it didn't appear to connect with anything and no e-mail was downloaded.

I have a Windows XP Professional SP2 laptop that is DHCP enabled. Per the recommendation of Oracle I installed a loopback adapter on my laptop in order for Oracle 10g personal database to work fine even when I am not connected to the network.

is there a way to track computer usage, what when and where. I belive my computer is being used or accesed after I leave. localy or via the network I don't know, but more then once it's been on in the morning after it was turned off the night before.

I have a situation where Microsoft Backup will not access a network drive yet I'm able to browse what is on the drive via Explorer. Backup will access other drives on the same computer via the network. Any ideas how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

I am quite confused. I have a server with 2 data shares (W:\ and X:\) which are RAID-5 arrays through a 3ware SATA RAID controller. W: is shared as CH_1, and X: is shared as CH_2.
