On windows XP machines, Under the Entire Network if you browes A network/Domain, the computers are listed by the discription with the name in Brackets ie... Bob's PC (pc90001). Is there a way to default the display so that it Only Displays by PC Name?

I have had my XP home reinstalled after driver failure. All my internet is OK thru browser, but when I want to use Windows update, I get a phone dialup box, which of course I cant do with my ISP. How do I fix it as I think it was done by the techo when the OS was reinstalled.
