My Cisco VPN client doesn't work now, I tried uninstall and reinstall several times, but failed. I tried Windows Installer Cleanup Utility once to clean up, and when I reinstalled again, it stuck in an infinite loop.

I am having trouble with my home network using XP Home. When I ping my own IP address I get a time out, but when I use net view is is successful. The help file tells me that "If the net view command succeeds then the computername is being resolved to the wrong IP address."

I've got machine running Windows XP SP2 with latest updates hosting several directories which are shared. Some of them have 'read' sharing permission for everyone (filesystem permisssion is identical with sharing permissions).
