I've had lots of problems setting up a home network.
I've tried all the suggestions in the Microsoft KB.  Still nothing.
Both computers are physically networked, and I can see the network
connection in the network window and the connection says it's fine.

I have set up a VPN connection from my home computer (XP Home sp2 on a cable
modem) to my work computer (XPPro sp2) and it works beautifully.  However,
as long as it's connected, Outlook Express (6) on my home computer cannot
find the mail server.
