I have been testing out wifi adaptors of usb and pcmcia type. Now my laptop
is showing "Wireless Network Connection 6" . Looks like I have got 6
connections. How do I get rid of the older connections? I think they are
interfering with the internet connection.

I've already set up a network fine between 2 pc's running windows 2000,
but now a friend wants me to set up one from Win. 2000 to an XP
machine.  There are 2 pc's connected directly to the router.  I have
the router connected, and both pc's can share the DSL connection fine.

We have two computers, one a desktop directly connected to the router
and cable modem and the printer. A notebook directly connected to the
router.
The problem is, the network connections do not work, they are there,

Hi, i am having issues with a computer regarding its network adapter.  I
formated and reinstalled windows xp home twice and im still having the same
problem.  I connect to my router via a cat5 and that connects to my cable
