I have a speed touch 576 wireless router, identical to the one my neighbour has. When i scan it finds this router... Is it possible to link these as part of a network??

I have been testing out wifi adaptors of usb and pcmcia type. Now my laptop is showing "Wireless Network Connection 6" . Looks like I have got 6 connections. How do I get rid of the older connections? I think they are interfering with the internet connection.

I've already set up a network fine between 2 pc's running windows 2000, but now a friend wants me to set up one from Win. 2000 to an XP machine. There are 2 pc's connected directly to the router. I have the router connected, and both pc's can share the DSL connection fine.
