Hi. I have an already running network with 7 PCs and 4 printers connected through a Catalyst 3500 series XL switch, IPs were assigned manually. This Switch is connected to a PC working as a firewall and the firewal to a DSL modem.

I just want to disable access for one user in windows xp sp2. I create a local user account but I don't know to disable access from de policies... Can you help me ? Chantal

I can't consistently connect to netvibes.com using my XP SP2 laptop. Ping times out. Web connections using IE and firefox almost always time out, but occasionally return a partial or full page.
