I need to enable/disable a Network component from the command line. Anyone
that knows if it´s possible and what command to use?
I use scripts to change ip-addresses and start and stop services. I also
need to be able to enable and disable network components on the connection.

I have XP connected to a local area network and have volumes on the remote
computers mapped to local drive letters on XP.  Each time I reboot XP,
though, I have to relog in to the remote computers, providing "Administrator

I would like to install another NIC and have it set just to use AOL.  I'm
using a Linksys router that's connected to a cable modem and I've manually
assigned all 3 computers + a printer there own IP address.  If more info is

I have a Windows XP workstation that seems to be ignoring our network
group policies, possibly through a registry change that another
technician made. I've heard this is possible. Is there a key or keys
that will disallow policy inheritence?

Wow - I can't believe how complicated this can be.
I have several computers on a home network. I can see all of them in Network
Places but one. The one I can't see I'll call Computer A.

I have 2 computers: CPU-DESKTOP and CPU-LAPTOP.
I want to be able to access the CPU-DESKTOP's hard drive on the CPU-LAPTOP

I am getting a lot of 'illegal length' packets counted on my network
equipment. When I did a packet capture (ethereal) I found that the ARP
