We have four machines in our office that are networked together through a
router. All are using XP Home and basically work together very well.
Sometimes we do however get long delays when trying to see things on other
machines - I can't tell whether this is happening on one ...

I just bought a notebook which came with Windows XP Home Edition. But at the
company I work for I can connect to the network normally, access all
computers, except one, which is a linux running machine, only accessible
through Samba.

Ive got one PC running xp home and a laptop running Xp pro.  Both
running wireless and dhcp on the router. I tried with fixed IP and got
the same problem. Basically i can connect and file and printer share

I have 3 Computers, all XP Home.
The Main one has an Internet Connection, and and other PCs connect via a Hub.
The Main PC is new, and the Old Main one has become a Secondary PC elsewhere

I have problems with Firefox 1.5.1 in that in about 25 % of all cases,

Now, that does not happed.  All I can do is see the shared folders but says
access denied when I double-click on it.  I am trying to access a share on a
XP Pro PC from another XP Home or Pro PC on my LAN.  A Linksys router

NT 4.0 you could do if you were running behind a domain, i am using simple

128K internet connection. When I download a large file like a podcast
it takes a long time. The speed at which the download happens is very
