I have two pc's with win-xp pro SP2 (one is laptop and the other kai is a desktop pc). All the updates have been done . Windows firewall is disabled and nothing else similar is installed.

We have three PCs (all running WinXP), and a Linksys router/ADSL modem, which is connected to the broadband line. My PC is wired to the router. I have two printers connected to the PC, both set as shared.

I just want to have a shared folder for two XP computers so that we don't have to pass files around on diskettes. Both have ethernet cards. Do we really need a hub, or is it possible to set this up through the router

I have been working on a troubleshoot, for my friend's computers, that involves two XP PRO SP2 machines. One machine, Dell desktop computer, is hardwired to the router. The other machine, an IBM Laptop, is wirelessly (and has been hardwired, as well) connected to same router.

I am running Windows XP Pro with SP2 and have added IIS 5.1 so I can develop a personal web site on my hoome computer. I especially want to develop a form where users can click on an option as well as submit text data. I know I can probably do this using VB6.
