I have two pc's with win-xp pro SP2 (one is laptop and the other kai is a
desktop pc).
All the updates have been done .
Windows firewall is disabled and nothing else similar is installed.

We have three PCs (all running WinXP), and a Linksys router/ADSL modem,
which is connected to the broadband line.
My PC is wired to the router. I have two printers connected to the PC, both
set as shared.

I just want to have a shared folder for two XP computers so that we don't
have to pass files around on diskettes.
Both have ethernet cards.
Do we really need a hub, or is it possible to set this up through the router
