I have a file on my WIndows 2000 machine that I want to transfer to a Windows XP machine. Both boxes are connected to the same router. How do I transfer the file from the 2000 box to the XP? Thanks in advance, please let me know what a better newsgrou might be

Ater installing last week's 4/11/2006 windows XP upgrade. I discovered that I could no longer connect to the internet through my laptop on the wireless network. I have four other computers on this network which are working fine (all of which have NOT been upgraded).

Ok, first off, I am brand new to the whole PC thing. I've spent my growing years on the net VIA WebTV, which is an excellent tool but not very good for preping you for PCs. Anyway, I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S213, highspeed cable VIA Roadrunner, and a Belkin wireless router.

I want to buy a dsl router in the US that I can also use in Europe (I'm thinking of the cheap Airnet), so I need it to run from 110 or 220 volts, like my electric shaver. (or at least have a voltage switch). Are these routers common and cheap?
