I have a three computer network with a DHCP-capable router. My
situation is that one computer would get a full connection, thus
allowing internet access, while the other computers are on limited
connections. The computer that starts up first gets full access, and if

If I use the router in an ATM protocol connection, I am able to network

I've got this weird problem on one computer running XP Pro. I can only access
the web when I have my office VPN connection connected.  If I disconnect the

I set up my network between my desk top and lap top all seemed to be working
ok.
But now i cannot access the vewing net work computers on my desktop, i can
see both computors on my desk top but cannot access any files.

when i tried to share my internet connection, a message pops up saying " An
error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enables. The
specified service does not exist as an installed service."

Im gettin an ip number like 169.254.x.x and no connection to internet.  The
event logs says about a problem on DHCP service, but its started.  Tried
stopping it and starting it again but  nothing happens (same problem)
The last thing I did before getting this was uninstalling ...
