I was one of the people with the network cable unplugged issue where
the NIC went back and forth every few seconds from reporting network
cable unplugged to being OK.

i am able to connect to my vpn server in xp pro ok but after it connects
nothing happens i.e access to files on the server computer. Have I forgot to

Internet sharing works fine.  I can access XP's files from the WInMe fine
too.  But the WinMe doesn't show up on the XP's "View Workgroup Computers".
The workgroup name IS the same (MSHOME) on both computers.  ...
