I managed to set up a password on a Windows XP Home Edition network by
adding a password to the guest account on each computer. Now when I try to
connect to another computer, it prompts for a password, unless you're logged
into a user account with a matching password.

This is a p2p workgroup, all clients are WinXP pro, firewalls are all off
for troubleshooting purposes. The root of each C: drive is shared using
simple file sharing and maximum access (level 5 I think MS calls it, but you

I've one PC acting as a server (Win XP Pro) with a folder that is accessible

I have a small domain, mixed 2000 and XP.  I have about 15 XP users.  2 have
