i have 3 machines running xp home edition and when i conct them together with
network cables i still get a message saying 'network cable unplugged.   The
network sockets work fine on each computer because it works when i plug my
modem in?? And it also works when i plug a machine ...

i have been directed to a web page for sports coverage however as the page
starts to load a window opens saying that to view page properly a chineese
simplified language pack should be installed is this what i should do as

I recently enabled the Windows Firewal log and being behind a "locked down"
NAT Router, I expected to see nothing.  A few days later I noticed a bunch of
droped TCP packet entries and thought something was wrong with the router.

I bought a new computer with Windows XP Media Edition OS. When I did the
normal setup, the Domain that it had to join was in a different location so
made it a stand alone Workgroup computer.

i cannot ping my own computor when i use windows to scan the network it
fails; i can ping local loop and default gateway and the router these are ok
i have no problems connecting to the web and my isp is ok
do you have any ideas???

When I shut down my WindowsXP computer an error message pops up briefly,
saying something about a digital data line problem. It is too quick to read
it all.. Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks for having a look.
I'm really stressed out about this, I accidentally pressed Ok to something
which most likely caused this problem.
At the Network Connections, I use to have 3 tabs when I right
