Hi I’m new to the forum and hope some can answer this question.
I am troubleshooting a strange network problem, here's the scenario.
Internet-netgear ADSL router-which connects to multihomed xp home.
Router wan static IP xx.xx.xx.xx internet

If I have three computers on a Win XP Pro SP2 network - A, B and C -
and the internet is connected to A, should I have an antivirus program
and firewall on B and C as well as A?
From one computer, if I want to "see" a certain folder on another

I'm sure there is an answer there is going to be a difference of opinion
about this, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if going from Cat 5 to
Cat 6 will increase my bandwidth speed on my connection to my main computer.
