Hi, I don't know what i did but IPConfig is not working on my machine (IBM X32, XP Pro SP2) anymore. This does not effect actual connectivity but is annoying nonetheless.

I have a small home network (six computers). All of the computers are on the same workgroup, (default..."Workgroup"). all of the computers are visible when I go to "View network computers" except one. Also, inorder to map a drive from this computer, I had to do it manally.

Comcast came to my apt to set up the internet. I have two accounts in the computer. The one they used to install the service does have the internet connection. The other one cann't connect to the http. It does connect to the internet when using SSH or pine.

at my company, I got a brand-new laptop with Windows XP SP2 installed and configured. It is used there with wired connections and makes use of the ISP's DNS server. This works, I can connect to my private server at home <http://www.lpr.ch> and work as expected.
