I'm having a problem with one of my computers.  It lost its ability to
go online all of a sudden.  It is connected to a router via an RJ45
line, but even when I have it connect directly to the cable modem,
thus having a direct connection to the internet, it still refuses to

When I connect to the internet, everything's good, load up is fast, pages
can be viewed etc. Network diag says everything's passed. After about 5mins,

Like many others, I had a probem using the wireless connection after
reinstalling Windows and SP-2.  I solved this by re-installing the Sony
"Wireless Help Utility for Windows XP".
AThe module name on the original disks (Windows Home) is SO-P08040802HX04US.
