At the moment i have windows XP SP2, my computer is going horribly slow and i want to know if i take it back to SP1 will it make it go any faster and is there any way to change it back to SP1 and if so how. What are the changes in SP1 from SP2?

How can I map a drive letter to a server (that I have full access to) across the internet? I believe it can be done with a WINS server, but I'd rather keep it as simple as possible.
