I use DSL for my internet connection but I have to manually connect. It is not connected at start up. My computer always looks for a network and this takes time because it never finds it, obviously. Is there a way to force XP Home Edition to startup without looking for a network? ...

I am new to networking and have set up two computers directly via cable. Seems to be working fine. When I want to unshare a Folder how do I do it. I just want to keep the network share list down in size by removing the folders after I have copied them to the 2nd computer.
