I have:
One desktop (XP) (creatievely named "Desktop")
One wireless laptop (XP)
One Netgear Rangemax router

I have a home network setup up right now where 1 WinXP and 1 Win2k
computer are connected wirelessly to a WAP that is my gateway to the
DSL connection.  I set this up approximately 1 week ago.  Before that,

Ok, so I had a "Working" network bridge on my laptop, which is sharing a
wireless connection to my main PC. The problem I have is that I deleted the
network bridge and now I am unable to connect to the wireless network by

I am assisting a non-profit that is currently setup with a Windows XP
PC acting as a wireless gateway.  There are 3 PC's and 1 laptop at
present in a peer-to-peer network.  These folks are sharing a lot of

I have a cable modem connection that works fine on one XP SP2 computer.  When
I attempt to add a wireless router (D-Link 614+) between the modem and the
computer, it shows the Internet Gateway connection "Disabled" and will not

I have about 4 computers on my network. I change the shared folders
frequently. I find that in My Computer or Win Explorer the lists of "shares"
does not update. It will even show folders that belong to computers not
turned on. I never had this problem in Win98 and I hear it is ...

We have a wireless network setup at home. My PC desktop is running at
48mbps. My wifes' laptop says it is running at just 11mbps. Her machine
takes much longer to get on line than it did a few weeks ago. I'm not
sure if it was running at 48mbps before but internet acess is

Im try to network my laptop and home pc , i have a net cable from my pc to a
switch then my laptop to the switch.
when it connect they both say tht the networks found but i cant see the
drive ofr files ive mapped.
