For a week now, I can not connect to the internet. I get the following message: 619 Connection to the remote computer could not be establish. So the port for this connection was closed.

Strange problem on xpsp2 home machine. When i open ie it doesn't bother making the dun box appear. Possibly the result of gad-networks.com malware. Even pgraded to ie7 but when offline I just get the following

was going through NAT as i had to share internet to my office computer, 50 in nos. as i dont want to use third party proxy, i opted for NAT then ICS as there seems to be added benifit in it. for guidance, i got the site for help:

One of my computers has two onboard gigabit controllers (Asus A8n-Sli Deluxe). Other than network bridging, is there any advantage in using both adapters simultaneously (particularly for web surfing)? Do they share the load, so to speak? Can one assign default behavior for each ...

I have 3 computers on windows xp professional and ion windows xp. I have enabled file sharing on all and it doesn't seem to be working on any of them. I set up a network that they are all on. I am sharing a printer and that works on all. I have a feeling I missed something stupid ...

I have a desktop pc and a laptop both running windows XP. I recently purchased a crossover cable in an attempt to network the two to share an internet connection. Both computers ping with themselves but fail to ping with one another.

I have a problem with an XP machine and a Win2K machine on a LAN . They can ping each other by IP address OK and they can each access the internet OK. XP can ping Win2K by computer name, but Win2K can not ping XP by name.
