I'm using a WinXP Pro sp2 desktop. I want to disable the Local area
connection with a command line command, just as what we do by right clicking
Local Area Connection icon in the Network Connections panel and select
'Disable'.

I have a user who dials into our network through our PPP server.  We have a
Terminal Window pop up so they can login to the PPP system for security.  For
some reason on this machine, fresh load of Windows XP, SP2 fully patched, it
will not allow you to type in that terminal ...

I am unable to see any computers in the workgroup on any terminal.  When I
ran Browstat status this is the result:  Browsing is not active on domaine &
Master name can't be determined from GetAdapterStatus.  Please help solve
