I have a home network consisting of a desk top and a lap top computer
both running early versions of Windows XP connected by cat. 5 cable to
a four port Belkin router which is itself connect to a cable modem.
The desk top machine accesses the internet at a consistently good speed

I want to share files from the desktop to the laptop. I have a USB cable and
none of the computer do not recognize the other. I do not want an Internet
connection, no. I just want to share files.

When I try to ping the host www.fromlottospot.com from my main computer
I receive the error message "Destination Host Unreachable". However, if
I try the same thing from either my laptop or media center PC I can ping
it without any problems.

I added a new user (next to my own account with administrator

I'm still experiencing locally shared printer problems.  All Users are
Power Users, Power Users have Full permission to the printer share in
question, but only users that are Admin on the machine with the printer
