From time to time I've found that shared folders will share OK to another workgroup PC ... but if it's a folder that's not a pre-existing one (like My Documents; My Pictures, etc.) ... then the subfolders in that folder will not be available for sharing ... unless one painstakingly ...

I have a home LAN (192.168.1.xx) of WinXP boxes, on which is a device (linksys music bridge) whose address I've "lost". I'm hoping the "lost" address is a 192.168.1.xx address, but I'm not even sure of that, see below. I do have the MAC address of the device.
