Trouble connecting to Microsoft from WinXP Pro SP2 computer on net12 Aug 2006 13:12 GMT1
The trouble I am having, is that I can't access any Microsoft domain (except
Hotmail, and even that is iffy at times) from my Windows XP Pro computer with
SP2.
I can connect to other sites just fine, but when I try to connect to MS, it

This problem cropped up on my XP SP machine and I have found several others
who have the same problem, but no solution has been presented that I have

I'm having a situation.  I have 3 computers on a network.  I have bellsouth

I've got two XP machines on my home network (linksys wrk54g) that I'm
moving ~14Gb of data between. Now, I don't expect the full 100Mb/s
throughput but it seems to be exceedingly slow. In about 12 hours, I've
moved around 1.9Gb which comes to about .337Mb/s.

wonder if someone could give me some guidance on a problem I'm having?
I have a Safecom Wireless LAN USB adapter (model SWLUZ-5400) and had it
running on my Win XP SP2 machine quite happily for months. I then had
some hard drive issues, and have basically re-installed Windows over

I just bought a new computer with winXP. I'm trying to connect on my labtpop
with  or without a router and I'm not able.
I ran may times the wizard, I installed on my labtop the program that the

Recently I had installed Firefox browser and set it up as default browser.
Now I have some programs not working well and some sites not displaying
properly and I d like to restore IE as default.

I use a laptop with which I share data with another desktop.  There s
another standalone desktop which requires to share the Internet connection
which I have on my laptop.  Right now I only have a one to one crossover
cable between my laptop and the data sharing desktop.
