Is there any easy way of copying or transfering a shared file from PC to PC?
When I copy and paste I get the shared file icon only, I need to transfer
the full folder onto another PC to access when not networked.

I having some beginer problems with networking two Windows XP Pro PC's.  I

I have a PC with a new ADSL connection, which works fine under the
windows account it was set up with.  Many people use this PC though and
they all need to use the same ADSL account.  How do I get XP to use the
same connection for all users on the PC without having to have them

I just tried setting up my parents network for them again after they just
moved. We never changed any settings on their wifi router except the isp
info.

I am a new hire, and was told to set myself up on the network.  Had another
user's Admin login.

I have been having fun with my XP machine for  some time now. It

I have my ip settings for dns to go to the internal dns server which is a
domain controller.  Every now and then on my client xp machine when I try
going to my internal web site through ie it will not load.  If I ping the
domain name of my web server it resolves to the public ip ...

For the past couple of days, I've been experiencing problems with several
users on XP losing their Internet connection.  I have to do a Ipconfig
/release-renew and they will re-connect.  Does not affect Win2K users.

I am trying to connect 7 computers in a workgroup and am having some problems.
here goes
i have connected four and they are all working fine
The other three just dont seem to connect to the workgroup.

haveing random computers on my network being droped from the domain,
figured out what the problem is of what is droping them (some how the
TCP/IP drivers are being deleted, but they are still showing up, but
all i have to do is reinstall them and it reconnects to the domain..)

I go to CP add windows components.  Add all Information svcs.
No remote desktop in accessories/comm.
I install exe from MS (msrdpcli.exe) remote desktop client
and it says I already have it in accessories/comm.

How I can send messages to my colleague using windows xp and small office
network, our computers are connected with each other via router. Is there any
command if I will write any thing it will appear in his screen? Please answer

I have a problem with a VPN Client program where address I enter seems to
get cached.  Using a Windows XP program.
I enter something like:
ping www.fts.com
