Is there any easy way of copying or transfering a shared file from PC to PC? When I copy and paste I get the shared file icon only, I need to transfer the full folder onto another PC to access when not networked. Many thanks.

I am a new hire, and was told to set myself up on the network. Had another user's Admin login. Set myself up as a new user in Active Directory on the server. Admin rights, joined appropriate groups, based on other users' setups, in approp.

I have been having fun with my XP machine for some time now. It probably all went back to an unsucessful install of Zonelabs... Anyway I lost network connections. I have now been able to connect to my LAN by providing a static IP address but my machine won't pickup a DHCP

haveing random computers on my network being droped from the domain, figured out what the problem is of what is droping them (some how the TCP/IP drivers are being deleted, but they are still showing up, but all i have to do is reinstall them and it reconnects to the domain..)

I go to CP add windows components. Add all Information svcs. No remote desktop in accessories/comm. I install exe from MS (msrdpcli.exe) remote desktop client and it says I already have it in accessories/comm.
