I have a small home network connected as follows:
- My Desktop (Server) wired
- My Laptop (Client) wireless
- One Printer

I'm working on a friend's laptop, trying to get it to access the wireless
router, no luck.. I connect it to the router with a cable, still no luck.

I have recently added a windows xp laptop to an existing network and
given the user of the laptop administrative privileges.

I have a cable modem coming in from a 2 way splitter. The modem is
hooked with cat 5e cable from the modem to my pc. Im getting a message
"Limited or no connectivity".
I unhook the wire from my PC na d hook it in my laptop- it works fine.
