My operating system is windows xp , i have dsl connection. 2 users r using my

I live abroard and have a XP2003 Server based in my home network 7000
miles away which I occasionally access, therefore the server does not
need to be switched on all the time.

My network has, at the moment, over 100 PCs and 8 servers. However, most of
of time, when I access network neighbouthood, I can see only a handfull of
PCs, neer anything like the full list. The are no losses of network access,
and I can ping any PC I want. I just can't see them ...

I'm experiencing what appears to be a dns lookup problem after my laptop sits
unused overnight.  The next morning when I attempt to access a web site
(either with IE or Firefox), I get a "site not found" error.
