I have an external hard drive attached to my desktop computer, running
windows xp home edition sp-2, which I use for back and downloading and just
recently I have been unable to access this drive from my laptop thru my home

I am tring to add a brand new laptop running XP Professional to an existing

Is there a policy that would allow for and XP Home machine to prevent Network
Shares from automatically being added to My Network PLaces? This is a crucial
piece and I can only find the group plicy change for XP Pro.

 I had problems with my windows Xp so i restarted it with a windows Xp

I am just a casual user with no major technical knowledge.  I use
Firefox 1.5x.  Lately my browser has been failing to load pages

Hi there!!
Need some help on some port fowarding for the router model above??
I wan to access for my file on my computer using apache server that
has been set up and localhost can access it.

I have a Dell laptop running Windows XP2 fully patched.
Sometimes my browsers stop connecting but I still have network access
