My desktop is a WinXP home that's been running for 3½ years now without any problem. The machine has an iTunes share and a couple of file shares. Last week the machine suddenly started to behave strange. The machine is connected to a router through a wireless network.

although I use my username which I have on computer B (with no password) from computer A to connect to computer B, I get the message : Computer B is not accessible. You might not have … and so on What do I do to be able to connect to computer B ?

I have connected my XP Home Edition desktop and my Win 2000 Pro laptop via cables to a router, with ICS running on the desktop but no firewall as far as I know on the laptop. Each of them is able to access the web without any problem.
