I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to networking issues, but I'm not
an amateur, either. I have, however, run into a Windows networking problem
that I literally haven't a CLUE how to resolve. Here's the deal:

I thought that NetMon used to be an optional "Windows Component" in XP
Setup, but now can't find it there, and it's not listed among the Support
Tools on the CD, and it's not listed in the Windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools
download.

I have problem. I'm using Win XP Prof in small network (about 20 computers).
I must share some files and folders on my PC to other users.

At the moment I have a small home network (100 Mb/s) with 6 PC's connected to
it.
One of this PC's is functioning as a file server.
Often I have to transfer files to and from the file server to PC 1.

All of a sudden I can visit the other sites except www.google.com(but
as I ping www.google.com, there do show "reply from" on the screen!)
After chat with friends on IM, I switch to administrator account, and
found that google can be visited under the administrator account.

I keep running into a problem after installing IE7 & Media Player 11 Beta 2.
I get the following error in Event Viewer. "Hanging application iexplore.exe,

my home network could not access the computer running Onecare.  The computer

I'm trying to set up a computer running XP Pro to accept incomming VPN
connections. Right now the only option in the connection wizard is to accept
connections over the parallel port. I would like to connect over ethernet, is

Hi! I've a little problem.
I have a WINXP PRO machine (192.168.0.1) connected to internet (151.44.x.y)
and a LINUX laptop (192.168.0.2) with an ftp server (port 21). They are in a
LAN. I can access the ftp from windows with ftp://192.168.0.2 but not with
