I get the following message on my PC (Windows XP Media Center witrh service pack 2) : Svchost.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x745f2780 referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be read. Does anybody have a fix please?

I am unfortunate enough to live in an area that dial up is the only sort of internet connection available (aside from satalite, which I am not interested in). This has worked fine for me for the previous 7 years except for lately.

I was given a Sony VAIO with Windows XP that had been on cable. It was full of trackers and keyloggers, and junk it would not get past the start up screen. Have Cleaned like crazy, but need to get on line to update the programs and clean more.

Some really nasty bug has gotten into my PC. Whenever open my browser, or try to go to any remotely popular site, I am redirected to a generic search page with links to porn. THis is stopping me from accessing Google, Hotmail and Amazon.
