I have searched the web and microsofts sites trying to find a solution to my
problem but I have not found anything that works correctly. I would greatly
appreciate it if anyone has any ideas as to what is wrong or how I can fix my

We have a small company with 4 computers in one state that are
networked that share a folder and the internet connection with another
computer in another state that connects to our shared folder via the

Wondering if use of a router takes away some of the speed I get from a
cable modem connection?   I  get 13 Mbps with direct connection to cable
modem,, but with wired router and no other computers running, do not get
