I've two 98SE and one XP Home on an existing 80211.b network and I am trying
to add an XP Media Center Edition laptop to the Network.
I think my problem is I need to set it to 64 bit wep, however I can't find
the setting to switch from 128 bit wep to 64 bit.  It's not in the same

I'm stuck with the Windows XP default share access. The idea behind my
plan is that the domain administrator should be able to access all
client default shares. Right now all users can access every default

Well, in fact the problem is only between win95 and Xp.
I have a fixed IP network, with four or five computers, most with
win98se, one with win95 (OSR2.0) and one with Xp pro.

when I ping, tracert to my gateway ip 192.168.0.1 router, I get

I have 2 similar computers running windows xp.  After numerous tries to get
them networked without internet connections, I succeeded.  I manually
configured the IP address on both computers.  Today they are not talking.  
Any suggests as to why they have become "unnetworked" ...
