I have AT&T high-speed internet, but whenever a connection times out, a
peoplepc popup happens, trying to connect me to the internet.  Although I had
a tech person help me disable peoplepc software, I'm still getting a "dialing

I try to connect to the internet with either my old 50' ethernet cable, or a
bran new 50' ethernet cable. I can only connect using a 10 foot cable. CAn
